Like the other reviewer, I have bought 2 of these and had exactly the same experience. If you have no hair, they would hold quite well, but on very fine, thin, slippery hair, I still needed hair pins. Both of mine also lost the velcro fastening fairly quickly and I had to resort to sewing it on through the jelly-like silicone - no mean feat. The product concept is fine, but the design needs a re-think, especially when it retails at this high price. Buyer beware!

if you wear a wig daily, these bands will do the job for a time. I have bought 2 now, one exactly like this one and the other, a different manufacturer, but the weaknbess is the same. After a short period of daily wear, the velcro typoe fastening peels off the silicone band. The only way you can re-attach is by sewing, as glues would dissolve the gel type filling. Absoluteley great for 'the big day', but not for sustained daily wear.
